Flexible Care Option

This option offers the most flexibility for parents. It allows parents to determine the amount of day care they require and when they need it. Flexible Care may be half or full days dependent on your family's individual requirements. When parents wish to only pay for the care they actually require they can choose this option. Parents submit their child care requirements in advance on a bi-weekly basis.

Fixed Care Option

This option is for parents seeking a secure, guaranteed space for their children. Parents who work a regular schedule and are seeking a consistent, dependable approach can take advantage of the lower cost to administrate this kind of care. The fixed option requires a commitment to either the Full or Half Day set schedule for renewable set periods (September - December, January - June and July and August). The fee will be a set, weekly fee determined at the start of the contract to reflect the reserved space for their child. The parent will be responsible to pay the set fee for the space and it is not associated with the actual time the child is in care. As a result the parent is assured of their child's reserved spot.

Occasional Care Option

This type of child care offers the most options for the family who requires care for thie children on an irregular, as needed basis. Because of the increased administration and scheduling costs it is also the most expensive option. This option is available to families based on a first-come, first-served basis and is dependent on space availability.

Relief Care Option

We realize that there may be circumstances where families and caregivers require relief care to meet the individual needs of their families. This care will be assessed on an individual basis and costs will be determined based on the requirements in each case. Contracts will outline the commitment and costs in these cases. Relief Care can be arranged by calling the Centre to arrange a consultation.

Child Care Fee Subsidy
Parents who work or attend school may be eligible for fee subsidy to help cover child care costs. Eligibility is determined through a simple telephone application process. Applications can take anywhere from 15-30 minutes to process. All personal information is kept strictly confidential.
