Relief Care

Give yourself a well-deserved break and rest easy knowing that your child is being cared for in a safe and nurturing, small group environment by qualified child care professionals.

Most parents of young children would agree that “time” ranks very high on their wish lists. To support this need, our Family Resource Centre offers parents a Relief Child Care program Friday mornings, 8am to noon.

To enroll your child, simply drop by our Centre and complete a short registration form. At that time you will also be asked to sign a consent form allowing your child(ren) to participate in walking excursions with relief care staff. As a health precaution, we require proof of immunization which can be obtained through the Picton Health Unit at 74A King Street, 613-476-7471.

Once your paperwork is complete, you may access any of our licensed child care programs as well as relief care. Please allow 48 hours notice to reserve or cancel your relief care space.
